Description
In an effort to develop valve seats that would meet our exacting standards, KPMI® tested and chemically separated several iron based valve seats. Eventually we specified a combination of materials that gave us a seat with good uniform hardness and resistance to microwelding, wear, and recession. This material is compatible with all types of fuel blends, resists corrosion and burning, and is machinable with standard tooling.
