Required when converting from stock H-D oil filter adapters to higher-flowing Jagg oil filter adapters.
Background: When removing a stock H-D oil cooler system and stock H-D oil filter adapter, the wide-flanged oil filter nipple / lock-nut is removed in the process. The wide-flanged oil filter nipple cannot be reused for the installation of a Jagg oil filter adapter and must be replaced with a stock oil filter nipple.
